Course 2. Family Support

Introduction

Welcome to the course Expert in Missing Persons and Minors Investigation in the framework of the European project LOST2.

We are embarking on a unique and necessary training course that addresses a highly relevant issue today: disappearances. Throughout this training, we will delve into the phenomenon of disappearances and its impact on both the missing persons and their families.
The course is designed to offer useful and practical tools in dealing with these cases, with a special focus on awareness raising and support for families, as well as best practices in dealing with a disappearance. We know that every second counts.
We hope that this course will enable you to gain valuable knowledge, raise awareness and, above all, be a bridge between families. Thank you for being part of this important initiative.

Requirements

For this course, prior knowledge of legislation regarding missing persons is required, as well as police legal knowledge in the event of disappearance.

Knowledge of search protocols for missing persons is recommended.

Module recommended for members of the security forces, private investigators, as well as members of the emergency and civil protection services, associations that work in the search for missing people in all operational areas.
