Module 2. Family support Assistance to the families and managing the personal relationships of the missing people

Introduction

The disappearance of a loved one is an unexpected and unanticipated situation where no one is prepared, much less prepared to face the situation. Therefore, it is natural that the feeling of security that until now you had as a family may be lost.

The problem of missing persons worldwide encompasses an important cause of emotional and health stress for millions of people who suffer the terrible uncertainty of not knowing the whereabouts of their missing loved one.

In this module the modular content we will learn and have the necessary knowledge to understand and support families with a missing loved one, as well as have knowledge of the processes that these families go through throughout the disappearance, as well as the consequences psychological and social problems that they have to face

The duration of this module is 3 hours and 50 minutes.

Requirements

For this module, prior knowledge of legislation regarding missing persons is required, as well as social and psychological knowledge regarding a disappearance.

Knowledge of search protocols for missing persons is recommended.

Module recommended for members of the security forces, private investigators, as well as members of the emergency and civil protection services, associations that work in the search for missing people in all operational areas.
