Portugal TPM | LOST2 Partners Gather in Lisbon to Discuss Progress and Next Steps for European Training Framework on Missing Persons

Our 2nd LOST2 Transnational Project meeting held in Lisbon last week and was highly successful. Organized by our partners, the Associação Portuguesa de Crianças Desaparecidas, focused on the following key aspects:

  • Quality assurance: A meticulous examination of the project and its outcomes was conducted to ensure impeccable standards.
  • LOST2 Dictionary of Competences: The development of a specialized terminological resource for the forthcoming training program, currently under development.
  • Demo of LOST2 Platform: An impressive showcase of the LOST2 Platform was presented, which will serve as a public venue for hosting the training course. It will foster collaboration among organizations engaged in combating the issue of missing people.
  • Project planning: Detailed deliberations centered on charting the course for upcoming project activities, which are projected to conclude by May 2025.
  • Publications: The team will publish a variety of materials, including reports, articles, and case studies, on the topic of missing persons, alongside poster, brochure and Newsletters for dissemination purposes.

Anticipating the forthcoming activity of the LOST2 Project, which entails staff training in Perugia (Italy),  stay tuned for additional updates regarding other endeavors associated with this innovative project.
