Introduction

In the absence of a clear and shared common research system, the professional figure of the “Expert in the research for missing persons” plays a fundamental role in coordinating and supporting families, also in relation to the national regulatory system of reference, the procedures of the police and voluntary organizations that provide support services to families. The course aims to train anyone interested in improving their skills and knowledge in order to create a professional figure integrated at European level and able to use all the tools necessary to support families and the forces involved in research.
