Module 1. General framework of the phenomenon of missing people and children and the prevention strategy

Module 1 concerns the definition of the first activities to analyze the disappearance and know how to manage the immediately following phases. The module analyzes the possible reasons for the disappearance and the ways to provide assistance to voluntary associations, schools and families in order to raise awareness and give awareness on the importance of prevention and how to implement effective preventive strategies.

The tools that are provided in the module are a video on how to frame the phenomenon of disappearance and what to do immediately.

Presentation that illustrates immediately after the disappearance the phases and activities to be implemented according to the practices and protocols activated in European countries: from the report, to the construction of a general profile of the missing person, to the activation of the procedure provided for by the legislation (in the Italian case) up to the activation of other channels to disseminate information in other countries and places.
